Bluescape Resources invests $50 million in Clean Line Energy Partners
Bluescape Resources plans to make an equity investment of up to $50 million in Clean Line Energy Partners LLC, the companies announced. Bluescape is a private, independent energy investment and operating company. Rock Island Clean Line LLC, a subsidiary of Clean Line Energy Partners LLC, has pursued a controversial project that would include transmission line in 16 Iowa counties, part of its planned 500-mile line to distribute power from wind farms in northwest Iowa to Illinois and other states.
