Facebook will be co-hosting a Boost with Facebook event with United Way of Central Iowa at 9 a.m. at Prairie Meadows Casino and Hotel,1 Prairie Meadows Drive, Altoona.

Facebook will be co-hosting a Boost with Facebook event with United Way of Central Iowa at 9 a.m. at Prairie Meadows Casino and Hotel,1 Prairie Meadows Drive, Altoona. Facebook is inviting local nonprofits to attend for free. Participants will hear from guests state Rep. Brian Lohse, state Auditor Rob Sand, and Pi515 founder Nancy Mwirotsi before learning how to effectively use Facebook for nonprofit organizations. The event is from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
