Botanical Garden to stay open later on Thursdays through summer
From now through Sept. 3, the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden will be open to the public until 8 p.m. on Thursday evenings. In addition, Trellis Cafe will also be open for happy hour from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. serving cocktails, beer, other beverages and small plates. Regular admission rates for the Botanical Garden apply in the evenings, and all ages are welcome. Please note that the Botanical Garden will be closed to the public on the Thursday evenings of July 9 and 23 because of private events.
