US Cellular announced a donation of $8,000 in new technology tools to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa to help club staff support members during the 2020-21 school year, as the club relies on a mix of in-person and virtual programming to reach students during the pandemic. The tools include 20 new iPads and cases, and is part of more than $100,000 in technology that US Cellular donated to 13 clubs across the country, the company said. The company previously announced a donation of $10,000 to the central Iowa organization as part of its Boys & Girls Clubs COVID-19 Relief Fund.
