Branstad names director for Department of Human Rights
Gov. Terry Branstad yesterday announced he has appointed San Wong as director of the Iowa Department of Human Rights. Wong currently works as the director of workforce and education initiatives at Des Moines Area Community College.
She has served on several councils and boards in Greater Des Moines, including the Asian American Council, the Chrysalis Foundation, the Iowa Asian Alliance and the Iowa Asian Foundation.
