Today, Gov. Terry Branstad named Dale Woolery the interim director of the Governor's Office of Drug Control Policy (ODCP).

Today, Gov. Terry Branstad named Dale Woolery the interim director of the Governor’s Office of Drug Control Policy (ODCP).

Woolery’s appointment comes after former director Mark Schouten replaced Brig. Gen. Derek Hill at Iowa Homeland Security and Emergency Management Division (HSEMD). Woolery has worked in ODCP for 17 years, most recently serving as associate director.

Branstad has not set a timeline for naming a permanent director of the agency.
