Bravo Greater Des Moines awarded cultural enrichment grants totaling more than $3.3 million to 58 regional arts, culture and heritage organizations, Bravo announced today. This is the largest amount of grant funding awarded by Bravo to date. Cultural enrichment grants support the operations, programs, activities and educational events of eligible arts, culture and heritage organizations based in Central Iowa. This marks one of two annual grant cycles administered by Bravo. Eligible organization applications were reviewed based on the merits of the application, the strength of the organization and the impact Bravo investments could make on the operations of arts, culture and heritage institutions and groups.
