Bravo opens fall grant cycle with new arts grant
Bravo Greater Des Moines opened its fall grant cycle this week and announced a new grant that will provide up to $10,000 for community-based arts and culture programs in Central Iowa. The new grant is a response to a growing number of local arts, culture and heritage programs that don’t meet Bravo’s historic funding model. Bravo allocates hotel and motel tax dollars from area governments in a spring cycle that supports projects and capital campaigns, and a fall cycle that supports operating budgets. Applications are due Oct. 19 and grants will be announced in November. Click here for more information.
