Bravo Greater Des Moines announced its three major honorees at its gala over the weekend. They were:
— Des Moines Community Playhouse, Encore Award for exceptional contributions to the arts over time.
— Greater Des Moines Public Art Foundation, Standing Ovation Award for exceeding expectations.
— Fred Maytag Family Foundation, Bravo Award for helping to strengthen the impact of arts, culture and heritage. 
The gala drew more than 1,500 attendees and was co-hosted by Laura Jackson, executive vice president of health care innovation and business development at Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Jeff Russell, president and CEO of Delta Dental of Iowa.
