Broadlawns adds two emergency department physicians
Broadlawns Medical Center has hired two additional physicians to help staff its recently expanded emergency department. Dr. Ryan Bakke and Dr. Martin VanZee both received their medical degrees from Des Moines University and completed their family medicine residencies at Broadlawns. Each is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. With the hirings, Broadlawns now has a staff of 10 physicians in the emergency department, which has added seven patient rooms.
