Broadlawns Medical Center was honored by Hospitals & Health Networks magazine as one of the Most Wired hospitals for the second year in a row.

The magazine said the hospital was honored for “leveraging the adoption and use of health information technology (IT) to improve performance in a number of areas,” according to a release. 

Broadlawns was one of eight Iowa hospitals or health systems recognized. In Central Iowa, Iowa Health System also received recognition, along with Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, which received a “most improved” award.
