Last week, the United States Women’s Bureau kicked off its centennial year, and to commemorate the milestone, the bureau also announced a new interactive project that will give working women across the country an opportunity to share their stories.

“Our Purpose. Your Work.” will highlight working women of all ages, including those just entering the workforce. As part of the yearlong celebration, women are asked to share their work stories, touch on their future aspirations and talk about how the Women’s Bureau has helped advance their purpose.

The Women’s Bureau will then collect and share stories throughout the centennial year. Select
stories will be featured on the Bureau’s website and across social media outlets.
