Small businesses in Iowa can now apply to be an American Small Business Champion. The award is given by SCORE, an organization that mentors small businesses across the nation. The distinction comes with funding through a $700,000 grant designed to support entrepreneurs. Business owners have until Feb. 6 to apply. Winners will be announced in late February.
