The Iowa Small Business Development Center announced Friday that Dr. Chris LoRang, chiropractor and owner of Capital Chiropractic & Rehabilitation Center in the East Village, is the winner of the SBDC’s Business of the Month Award. Each month, the SBDC selects one business from nominations submitted from across the state by the 15 regional SBDC directors. Jan Owens Bruene, certified business adviser of the Mid Iowa Small Business Development Center in Des Moines, said:  “Dr. LoRang is very participatory in our community, presenting specific workshops for runners, cross-fitters, triathletes and more. He very much deserves this special recognition.” LoRang opened the practice in July 2013.
