Capital Crossroads and Partnership launch ‘Intersections in Health’ series

Capital Crossroads and the Greater Des Moines Partnership are introducing “Intersections in Health,” a monthly series that encourages attendees to focus on the whole person. Speakers will discuss the mental, physical and social determinants of health and well-being. Attendees will learn more about what “holistic health” means and looks like as Greater Des Moines’ communities work together to create a culture of health. The first panel will be held Jan. 21 at noon. Speakers will include Erin Drinnin, community impact officer for health with United Way of Central Iowa; Sarah Ramsey, director of professional programs at Drake University; and Deidre Williams, vice president of organizational effectiveness at EMC. Jami Haberl, executive director of Iowa Healthiest State Initiative, will moderate. For more information and to register, click here.
