The partner agencies leading Iowa’s implementation of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act will host One Door: Many Paths, a conference to comprehensively address workforce issues across the state. The June 27-28 conference at Prairie Meadows Conference Center in Altoona is part of a collaboration between Iowa Workforce Development and a number of other state agencies to streamline workforce services in Iowa. A career fair will be held in conjunction with the conference on June 27 from 9 to 11:30 a.m., with more than 60 employers from six major workforce sectors: financial, advanced manufacturing, health care, information technology, skilled trades and logistics.
