Casey’s to purchase 22 Kum & Go stores
Casey’s General Stores Inc. and Kum & Go LC announced today that they have signed an agreement for Casey’s to acquire 22 convenience stores from Kum & Go.
The stores are located in Sigourney, Osceola, Pella, Oskaloosa, Knoxville, Clarinda, Forest City, Greenfield, Monticello, Creston, Harlan, Albia, Emmetsburg, Marshalltown, Hawarden and Shenandoah in Iowa, as well as Kirksville and Marshfield, Mo., and Horace, N.D.
The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals, and the transaction is expected to close in November.
Casey’s also purchased 22 Kum & Go stores in June 2011.
