Informatics Inc., a Cedar Rapids-based digital marketing and web company, has become the first company in Iowa to be a Workhuman Certified Enterprise. According to a news release, the status distinguishes organizations that are committed to investing in and demonstrating progress toward making work more human, and providing an environment where all people are valued and can do their best work. Workhuman is an international organization founded in 1999 that uses cloud-based digital tools to help companies improve their workplace culture. Workhuman Certified status recognizes organizations’ commitment to its eight tenets of the human work experience, which are purpose-driven work, appreciation, work-life harmony, a culture of belonging, opportunities for growth, fair pay, safety, and environmental and social stewardship. “By becoming a Workhuman Certified Enterprise, we are demonstrating the importance of the work experience we provide our people and accountable to live what we say we believe,” said Informatics Chief Experience Officer Stacie Osako. “It is a validation and commitment to adapt and continually improve the experience we create.
