Indianola-based Cemen Tech Inc., a manufacturer of volumetric concrete mixing equipment, announced Thursday it has hired Connor Deering as the company’s new president and CEO. Deering was most recently vice president of sales and marketing of Apache Inc., a Cedar Rapids-based belt and hose manufacturer. He succeeds Chris Wignall, who left Cemen Tech last year. Prior to Apache, Deering held the role of vice president and general manager for the gas products and services division for Mueller Co., a maker of water and natural gas distribution products. He has an MBA from Millikin University. Cemen Tech also announced it has hired Mark Rinehart as director of sales and marketing. Rinehart has an extensive background in sales and technology in the construction industry, and most recently was director of technology for Ziegler Caterpillar. Cemen Tech operates in 52 countries, services mixers across the globe and supplies equipment to the United States military. It employs about 100 people in Indianola.
