The Central Iowa Business Conference, an event hosted by the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce, has announced the four keynote speakers for its 2025 event on May 22. The theme of this year’s conference is “Lead, Shift, Transform: Empowering Change for a Better Future.” Author and speaker Beth Ziesenis of Your Nerdy Best Friend will deliver a session on artificial intelligence and its potential for business; global economist Frank Kelly will present an analysis of the global economy and discuss navigating complex financial landscapes; Des Moines Public Schools Superintendent Ian Roberts will discuss the critical role of leadership in fostering resilience and growth; and Kansas City Chiefs play-by-play announcer Mitch Holthus will talk about the Chiefs’ journey from NFL underdogs to champions. “This year’s theme … reflects the planning committee’s collected research of what today’s business leaders need to embrace and want to learn in order to advance in today’s ever-changing business climate,” Gina Wright, vice president of the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce, said in a prepared statement. The event will be held at the Prairie Meadows Event and Conference Center in Altoona. For more information or to register for the event, click here.
