Central Iowa loans backed by SBA in November top $6.6M

The U.S. Small Business Administration backed more than $6.6 million in loans for Central Iowa businesses in November. The 11 loans are expected to create 64 new jobs and retain 21 jobs. Among the top loans by dollar amount in November:

– Charis Enterprises LLC in Ankeny, for an existing business in the category of other direct selling establishments, for $1,977,000.
– Dm Rink Partners LLC, Urbandale, for a new business in fitness and recreational sports centers, for $1,776,900.
– 7G Development LLC, Johnston, for an existing business in environmental consulting services, for $1,068,000.

The 11 Central Iowa loans were among a total of 31 loans backed statewide totaling $11,143,000 to Iowa businesses from participating lenders using the SBA’s two largest lending programs.

The SBA 7(a) and 504 programs capitalized 17 new and 14 existing businesses that report creating 173 new jobs and retaining 88 jobs as a result.
