The Central Iowa Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals has named its 2025 National Philanthropy Day award winners.

The National Philanthropy Day awards recognize individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the quality of life in Central Iowa.

The winners are:

• Outstanding Individual Philanthropists: Nix and Virginia Lauridsen
• Outstanding Large Corporate/Foundation Philanthropy: EMC Insurance Foundation
• Rising Star Volunteer Fundraiser: Emily Webb
• Legacy Volunteer Fundraiser: Mark Vukovich
• Outstanding Small Corporate/Foundation Philanthropy: Merchants Bonding Co.
• Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy: Jacob Forney

The honorees will be recognized on Nov. 21 at the 40th annual National Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon at the Des Moines Marriott Downtown. Tickets and tables will go on sale Sept. 1.

The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) represents more than 26,000 fundraisers in 170 chapters around the world, working to advance philanthropy.
