CenturyLink Inc. has received $35 million from the Federal Communications Commission's Connect America Fund to expand broadband access in rural communities.

CenturyLink Inc. has received $35 million from the Federal Communications Commission’s Connect America Fund to expand broadband access in rural communities.

The company believes it will be able to bring broadband service into about 60,000 homes across the country.
