CenturyLink wins Social Security contract
CenturyLink Inc. was recently awarded a $233 million contract from the Social Security Administration to help provide infrastructure for data, video and voice services, the company announced.
CenturyLink will provide infrastructure in 1,500 field offices, data centers, regional offices and program service centers.
The Social Security Administration said CenturyLink’s work will help it alleviate a backlog of disability cases by providing video conferencing, according to a release. CenturyLink provides telecommunications services throughout Iowa.
