The lecture will be the first of planned annual addresses by experts in the Iowa Constitution. The inaugural lecture, “A Pioneer’s Constitution: How Iowa’s Constitutional History Uniquely Shapes Our Pioneering Tradition in Recognizing Civil Rights and Civil Liberties,” will be held Thursday at 4 p.m. at Cartwright Hall, Room 231. The event is free and open to the public.
