Chinese companies are expected to cancel most of the remaining soybeans that importers had committed to buy at the end of this summer, Bloomberg reports. China has not taken delivery of about 1.14 million metric tons of U.S. soybeans. Iowa exported nearly $2 billion in soybeans to China in 2016, and the country had been expected to buy 97 million tons of soybeans this year.
