Ron Cox, director of Iowa State University’s Center for Industrial Research and Service, will step down from his additional role as associate dean in the College of Engineering Dec. 31. Cox will continue to direct CIRAS, which works with businesses on ways to improve processes to promote growth. Cox has been associate dean for corporate engagement in the engineering college for eight years. He had worked on administrative changes that saved several million dollars and promoted the hiring of ISU students.
