Civic Music Association to host May fund-raising event
The Civic Music Association will host a fund-raising event called “Chocolate, Wine & All That Jazz!” on May 3. The event will feature a concert by the Metta Quintet. Networking will begin at 7 p.m. with the concert at 8 p.m. in the courtyard of the Patty & Fred Turner Jazz Center on the Drake University campus, 2505 Carpenter Ave. Tickets are $100, and can be purchased at www.civicmusic.org.
