Colorfx acquires Demco Printing 

Colorfx, a Des Moines-based print and marketing services company, announced that it has acquired Demco Printing, based in Boyden, from Dethmers Manufacturing Co. Demco Printing, which specializes in digital, sheet fed, and web printing along with complete finishing services, will further expand the geographic reach and service capabilities of Colorfx and its sister company, Rock Communications, said Jon Troen, president of Colorfx and Rock Communications. The two companies are national providers of print and multichannel marketing solutions. Combined annual sales of the merged organizations will be approximately $85 million, with roughly 500 employees operating in five facilities throughout Iowa.
