Commercial real estate sales posted gains throughout 2012, according to Real Capital Analytics Inc., GlobeSt.com reported, with November alone showing a 40 percent increase over the year at $19.5 billion. Sales through November totaled $225 billion. Multifamily led the way with $75 billion in sales. Once December figures are tallied, Real Capital Analytics expects volume for the year to reach $260 billion. Read more.
