The Iowa College Student Aid Commission (ICSAC), along with Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds, announced yesterday the launch of Buttonwood, a Web-based personal finance student loan management system for college students.

The program, run through EverFi Inc.’s customized media platform, addresses more than 600 key financial literacy concepts, with a focus on financial aid and loan default prevention.

It follows in the footsteps of a similar program for high school students that ICSAC launched last year in an effort to reduce student debt in Iowa. For a related story, click here.
