Commonwealth Holdings Inc. recently announced the expansion of its operations in Salt Lake City following the acquisition of Rydalch Electric Inc. Rydalch Electric specializes in providing electrical construction services for the state’s commercial, institutional and industrial markets. “The combination of Rydalch Electric’s employees and customer base, plus the resources and new opportunities that Commonwealth brings to the table, will foster an even stronger company,” said Commonwealth Holdings President and CEO T. Michael Price. Rydalch Electric will continue to operate under the same name, a release says. The acquisition adds to Commonwealth Electric Company of the Midwest’s services in Iowa, Nebraska and Arizona. Des Moines-based BCC Advisers served as the investment banking adviser for Commonwealth during the acquisition.
