The Des Moines Music Coalition (DMMC) has announced Music University, an annual conference and showcase for Iowa’s music professionals, will be held on Jan. 20th at xBk Live. The half-day event, co-hosted by DMMC and xBk Live, will feature industry panels on topics such as touring, building fanbases, artist incubators, career paths for non-musicians, and strengthening the Des Moines music scene. The conference includes a ticketed show by the Cactus Blossoms and aims to mobilize and support the growing music industry in Des Moines and Iowa. The event is free to attend but registration is required.
