Confluence adds Omaha office

After a 15-year presence on Nebraska jobs, Des Moines-based Confluence landscape architecture, urban design and planning firm is opening an office in Omaha that will be under the direction of Dolores Silkworth, according to a release. Recent Confluence projects in Nebraska include the Lincoln Children’s Zoo expansion, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s East Campus Residence Hall and the school’s 17th Street Dining Center. The firm has plans to hire six to eight additional professional design and planning team members over the next five years. Confluence also has offices in Kansas City, Mo., Sioux Falls, S.D., Minneapolis and Cedar Rapids.
