Eastern Iowa and the Quad Cities will have a new source for business news, as Corridor Media Group Inc., publisher of the weekly Corridor Business Journal, announced Tuesday it will launch the Quad Cities Regional Business Journal (QCBJ). The new publication will distribute content in biweekly print editions, daily e-newsletters and online covering business news in Scott, Muscatine and Clinton counties as well as three counties in Illinois. Jennifer DeWitt, a longtime Quad Cities journalist, will lead the publication as editor and Kendra Burrows will join the team as a senior reporter. Reporters, freelancers and sales staff are currently being hired. The website will launch Dec. 1, and the first print edition publishes Jan. 24, 2022.
