The Court Avenue District’s weekend Entertainment Zone announced the lineup for 17 bands and guest DJ nights during Fridays and Saturdays 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., until Sept. 4. Supported by Polk County, Prairie Meadows, the City of Des Moines and the Greater Des Moines Partnership, the Entertainment Zone fences off four blocks of the Court Avenue area to host food trucks and live music, allowing visitors to bring alcoholic drinks outdoors. There is no fee to enter, but all visitors must be 21 or older with a valid form of ID. The full schedule of acts is available at the Greater Des Moines Partnership’s website.
