Actress Maria Bello will speak at the 2012 Des Moines Women’s Expo, Oct. 13-14 at Hy-Vee Hall in the Iowa Events Center.

Bello has starred in more than 30 movies, including “Coyote Ugly,” “A History of Violence” and “The Cooler.”

In addition to Bello, the Des Moines Women’s Expo will feature the Taste of Home Cooking School, which will teach attendees new skills and recipes as well as craft and decorating ideas.

Tickets for the cooking demonstration will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis with the ticket price including general expo admission.
