Twenty-nine graduates of the Iowa Certified Public Manager Program (ICPM) will present their research projects beginning at 9 a.m. on Dec. 15. The series of five one-hour presentations, which are free and open to the public, will explore issues in the public sector. Topics such as new tools for performance management, innovation through employee action and wellness programs will be covered. The presentations are scheduled to take place at Parents Hall South in Drake University’s Olmsted Center at 2875 University Ave. in Des Moines. ICPM, a nationally accredited professional-certification program for upper-level public-sector managers and directors, is offered through the state of Iowa and the Drake University Center for Professional Studies.
