Crowley named CRE Professional of the Year

293 wordsAll Latest News, Real Estate and DevelopmentKevin Crowley, chief operating officer and manager for NAI Iowa Realty Commercial, is the 2020 Ivy College of Business CRE Professional of the Year.
Crowley (pictured) has been involved with the commercial real estate industry for more than 40 years, representing investors, developers, building owners and tenants in transactions.
For the past 18 years, Crowley “has been the engine that keeps NAI Iowa Realty Commercial moving,” Kim Bakey, the company’s CEO, wrote in nominating Crowley for the honor. “Kevin is a very effective leader and manager. … It is evident that his goal is to see each and every agent in the company have ongoing success.”
Crowley has consistently been a top producer in the Des Moines-area commercial real estate market. In 2019, he had $60 million in transactions, according to Bakey.
Crowley is actively involved in the community, serving in numerous roles such as past president of Youth Emergency Services & Shelter and on the board of directors for Kingdom Cares International.
He currently is president of the board of directors for Polk County Health Services, is a member of the audit committee for the Society of Industrial and Officer Realtors, and is on the board of trustees for the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors Education Foundation.
The award will be presented at the Business Record’s Commercial Real Estate forum, which will be held virtually from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 22. (To register, click here.) More about Crowley will be included in the April 24 issue of the Business Record.
