The Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau today launched a new comprehensive community calendar, providing visitors and local residents with a more extensive, advanced list of things to do in the area. The site, which launched at noon today, pulls events from more than 100 local websites and automatically feeds the events to catchdesmoines.com/events. The CVB partnered with a local tech company, VyvaCity, to enhance the calendar and fulfill what it called a long-standing community need.
