Holmes Murphy & Associates on Wednesday will host a cybersecurity symposium, Keeping Iowa Safe, to address the increasing threat of cyber hackers. Iowa Insurance Commissioner Nick Gerhart will join a panel of information security experts to address pressing items of network security and provide expertise on proactive measures and strategies. The symposium will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Holiday Inn, 6075 Mills Civic Parkway in West Des Moines. Also on the panel will be Andy Neller, information security manager with Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield; Mike Nell, vice president of technology with CDS Global; and Lt. Col.
