The revised estimates, up from a projected $11 million in losses discussed in October, account for the many ways the city lost money so far this year. As more people work from home, parking meters and garages can’t collect payment, and police have written fewer parking tickets. Along with expected hits to road use and sales tax revenues, gambling profits from an agreement with Prairie Meadows casino have also dwindled.
