DART fair shuttle sets record
The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority provided a record 253,217 rides to and from this year’s Iowa State Fair. DART’s previous record for the shuttle, which begin in 2006, was 242,081 rides in 2015. This year’s total was 5% more than the record and a 9.5% jump from last year. The park-and-ride locations are at the Iowa Capitol, Southeast Polk High School and the Center Street Park & Ride.
