The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) has launched a new trip planner at ridedart.com and on the MYDART app. Key features include a better search function for locations and finding nearby bus stops, plus a map of more than 1,500 stops and real-time bus arrival information. “I love that you can see all the stops along the route, you can save your trips and you can see the real-time movement of the bus,” rider K. Star told DART. “It was very easy to use and navigate through the app.” The MYDART app, launched in October, has been used 33,000 times for ticket purchases. Beginning in August, a new feature will allow riders to scan mobile tickets at new fare boxes to be added.
