The deadline to apply for the Iowa Language Learners Job Training Program has been extended to Jan. 13 to allow for more applicants. The program will provide $5 million in grants to fund employer programs that support improved communication and language instruction in the workplace. Applications can be submitted beginning Dec. 14, as the IowaGrants.gov website is currently unavailable due to a website update. A new webinar is also scheduled for Dec. 20 to provide more information on how to apply, along with a Q&A session. Interested employers can register at this link.
