About: SCI staff and volunteers will have telescopes set up view the annual Geminid Meteor Shower as well as other celestial objects Saturday at Ewing Park. The meteor shower, which radiates from the constellation Gemini and can produce up to 120 multicolored meteors per hour at its peak, takes place Dec. 7-17 this year. SCI Star Parties are free and open to the public.
When: 10 p.m. to midnight
Where: Ewing Park near the Lilac Arboretum
