Noting that about 38 percent of his company’s revenues came from sales outside the United States and Canada in 2014, Deere & Co. Chairman and CEO Samuel Allen lauded Trade Promotion Authority legislation that passed the U.S. Senate Wednesday. President Barack Obama is expected to sign the bill into law. Allen said in release that the legislation, which restricts Congress to “yes” or “no” votes on U.S. trade agreements, “will expand jobs and opportunities for American businesses, farmers, and workers. This benefits our customers, our employees, and Deere’s business opportunities.”
