Deere, Principal earn ‘most ethical’ recognition

Deere has received the award for all 12 years the institute has completed the research, and it’s the eighth time Principal has been recognized.
This year, 135 companies from 23 countries are being honored. Deere is among just 12 companies that have received the award each year since 2007. “Our record of success is anchored by an unwavering commitment to ethical behavior and doing the right things in the right way,” said Sam Allen, chairman and CEO of Deere. “We have a responsibility to uphold the standards of honor and integrity that have defined Deere over its history.” The Ethisphere Institute assesses company performance across five categories: ethics and compliance; corporate citizenship and responsibility; culture of ethics; governance and leadership; and innovation and reputation.
