Deere rank and file ratify contract
Deere & Co. employees represented by the United Auto Workers ratified a new six-year agreement Sunday, the Quad-City Times reported. Deere issued a news release late Sunday, which noted that the terms of the contract will not be made public. The proposed tentative agreement covers about 10,000 Deere manufacturing employees at 12 Deere facilities, including its plant in Ankeny.
