Beth Jones, director of community impact at Delta Dental of Iowa, has been selected for the Grantmakers in Health Terrance Keenan Foundation Fellow program for 2020. The leadership development program focuses on the health philanthropy industry’s emerging leaders and provides issues management discussion and networking. She is one of just 18 professionals chosen nationally for the yearlong program. “Attending the Terrance Keenan Foundation Fellows program is a tremendous opportunity for Beth and for Delta Dental of Iowa,” said Suzanne Heckenlaible, executive director of Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation. “We believe in leadership at all levels, which happens when we interact with and learn from the best leaders in our industries.” The program consists of in-person and online networking and leadership development structured around the work and writings of Terrance Keenan, whose career in health philanthropy inspired the industry. Jones is the director of community impact at Delta Dental of Iowa, where she leads the work of Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation and Delta Dental of Iowa’s Community Impact programs. She works with nonprofits, trade associations, schools and clinics to improve the oral and overall health of Iowans.
